The mission of the Abarno Library/Learning Commons is to enrich and support the instructional program of Smith Academy with a welcoming environment and a wide range of educational resources in all areas of curriculum interest; to provide a functional collection of educational materials on all levels of difficulty, with a diversity of opinion and point of view; to promote information literacy; and to support Smith Academy's mission of providing a learning environment conducive to growth.
