Homework

Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday.  In addition, students are responsible for long term assignments. Student should work for no more than forty minutes.  Thirty minutes should be spent on assignments and ten minutes should be set aside for independent reading.  Students record daily assignments on a Week at a Glance which is kept in their  three ring binders.  If a student does not complete a homework assignment and is not prepared to participate in class, he/she will be given a Homework Reminder which should be signed by a parent/guardian.  If a student receives three Homework Reminders the teacher will contact the parent/guardian.
